| This one is visceral. All the way through. Jean's intensity is nearly unparalleled. Emotions are invoked, curses rent the air and finally you sigh in relief. This story is what every story should be. There are moments where all you want to do is cry. Other times, you cheer. But overall, you stay glued to your screen. Not to be missed. | |||||

| Trust me, it works. Catseye is the mother of all C/M shippers, and if you're of like mind, this is a not to be missed fic! CE weaves a tale of action, romance, and the discovery of your roots. Buffy must go back in time to save herself from being wiped out of history. You see, one of the Seven is her ancestral daddy. . . Dare you to guess which one. . . . | |||||
| This one. . . this one touches the heart. Greenwoman touches the reader as she tells how Buck comes to understand where his place is in Chris' life. And I do believe this is the story that explains where Chris and Vin got their matching spurs. | |||||
| Hilarious. Laugh out loud hilarious. Vin. Ezra. Dynamite. You just know Chris isn't going to be too happy. Sassey captures the boyishness of the Vin/Ezra dynamic so evident in the show. And of course, "big brother" Chris . . . love him! | |||||
| (sigh) I miss Susan. She is such a wonderful writer. There are so many layers here, so much quiet reflection. An overall incredible piece. Chris is strong, gentle, powerful, fragmented, and tortured. Mary is sensitive, strong, intuitive, a mother, and a woman. And Billy? He's adorable . . . picking up some interesting habits from the other Six. | |||||
| Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. The Seven, in one van, on their way to a conference. What could go wrong? (Snort) Everything of course! What I love about this story is absolutely FUN element of it. Yes, there are bad things happening to them. . . but Stachy throws in these wonderfully hilarious one-liners that just make the story FUN! | |||||
| Yet another third person POV of the guys. . . actually, it's a whole team's POVs. The great thing about this story is that Celeste compares and contrasts Team Seven against another team, effectively showing what it is exactly that makes Team Seven so badass. She humanizes her OMCs, so you don't hate them right off, they aren't the bad guys. They're just. . . not the Seven. | |||||
| Okay, this is the VERY first story I had ever read in the M7 fandom, it's the one that got me hooked on M7. It's also the mother of all hurt/comfort/angst fics! Every single one of the boys is severely mistreated! And the lengths they go to to save each other is incredible! To this day, for me, no other h/c even comes close to DD's masterpiece. | |||||
| This one. . . what can I say about this one? Well, the words, "misused office supplies" come to mind. But that doesn't tell y'all much, does it? (g) I'm not sure why I like this story, except I liked it. It was fun, a piece of fluff that brightened my day. | |||||

| Okay, if Penance is the mother of all angst fests, Siege is the mother of all kick-ass fests! The Scribe, via the Seven, does some major damage to the baddies when they try to attack FC. It is in this story that we see "Chris, the Leader" in all of his glory. In a time of crisis, the town immediately turns to him and of course, the man rises to the challenge. | |||||
| This one is ironic as hell. Also funny as hell when the reader finally realizes what happened. And no, I don't feel bad at all for being a M7 writer. Nope, not at all. (eg) | |||||
| This story . . . God, this story is hilarious! It's also sweet as hell. I think that this has got to be my all time favorite by Heather. . . and she's written some dozies. The team dynamics are wonderfully done. She knows her characters and her characters know each other. | |||||
| Oh yeah, that's right, sex. If y'all haven't figure it out yet, I am a card carrying member of the Chris/Mary shipper club. And for me, the best, on-going C/M series starts with this story. The Scribe writes Chris and Mary in all their hell raising fury. They fight, they have sex, they fight some more, and in the end, they're happy. What more could a shipper want, right? (eg) | |||||
| This one. . . this one still sends shivers up my spine when I read it. Winter tells us how Vin first came to join Larabee's team, hence the "Five" and to this day, I still hold this story as ATF canon. She loves to hurt Vin, and damn if we don't love reading it! I really love this story because it delves into Vin joining the team. | |||||
| This one. . . this one's weird. Well, not so much weird as different. I liked it. Go read it. Saying anything more would be spoiling for y'all. (eg) | |||||
| (sigh, shiver) Yet another of Winter's masterpieces. Vin is once again severely injured and Chris is there to protect, comfort, and care for him. This story is touching in so many different ways. It focuses in on Chris and Vin's relationship. The trust and friendship between those two. It's almost a tangible thing. . . . | |||||
| This one. . . this one hits the heart. Ezra . . . poor baby Ezra. Torn from the Seven's fold without their knowledge. The Seven. . . losing one of their own and not knowing. And the lengths that they go to to find him. This one will have you on the edge of your seat screaming at the baddies (and they're not who you think!) and whimpering for Ezra in pain . . . emotional and physical. Beautiful. Just beautiful. | |||||
| Chris is shot and the others voice their fears. Beautifully written. Nothing more needs to be said. This is just a beautiful piece. | |||||
| Intense. That's all I can say about this one. And it's still too inadequate of a word. But that's the best I can do. The Scribe hits the ground running in this one and keeps you hoping until the very end. Then you get to breathe. . . only if you don't read the next story in the series. There is this one scene though, it has got to be the most hypnotic, visceral image I've ever read. You'll know it when you see it. |
